DogiCircle Terms Of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of DogiCircle, a dog-centered community app for dog profiles, discovery, matching, chat, Lost & Found support, announcements, and related services.

By creating an account or using DogiCircle, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to use online social services in your location. DogiCircle is not intended for children under 13.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens through your account.

Accounts

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your email address current, and not impersonate another person or organization. One person should not create multiple accounts to evade safety, moderation, or product limits.

DogiCircle may require email verification before an account can use core features.

Dog Profiles And Lost And Found Cards

You are responsible for the content you upload or submit, including photos, dog descriptions, Lost & Found posts, and profile information.

You agree not to post false, misleading, abusive, infringing, or illegal content. Lost & Found cards should be used in good faith to help dogs return home.

Matching And Messaging

DogiCircle may allow users to match and chat after mutual interest. Messaging should be respectful and dog/community related.

DogiCircle may show safety warnings when a message appears to request money, share personal contact details, or otherwise create risk. These warnings are educational and may be logged for safety review.

User Conduct

DogiCircle has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. This includes harassment, threats, unsafe behavior, illegal content, spam, scams, impersonation, and content that exploits, endangers, or attacks other people or animals.

You agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, shame, or abuse other users
  • scam, defraud, or request suspicious payments
  • impersonate another person, rescue, business, or organization
  • share another person's private information without permission
  • post violent, hateful, sexual, exploitative, or illegal content
  • use DogiCircle to sell animals unlawfully or support unsafe animal practices
  • upload malware, spam, or automated abusive traffic
  • scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse DogiCircle systems
  • evade moderation, suspension, rate limits, or access controls

Animal Welfare

DogiCircle is a community product and does not verify every animal, owner, location, rescue claim, or Lost & Found claim. Users should use good judgment, meet safely, follow local laws, and prioritize animal welfare.

DogiCircle is not a veterinary, legal, rescue, or emergency service. For urgent animal safety situations, contact the appropriate local authorities, animal control, shelter, or veterinary professional.

Moderation

Users may report objectionable content, suspicious activity, abusive behavior, unsafe Lost & Found posts, inappropriate dog profiles, messages, or other community content. Users may also block abusive users to stop unwanted contact.

DogiCircle may review reports, photos, messages, Lost & Found cards, ads, and accounts. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other action when we believe these terms have been violated, users may be at risk, or the community may be harmed.

Moderation decisions may use automated signals, admin review, or both. Users may be able to appeal certain moderation actions.

Ads And Announcements

DogiCircle may show ads, sponsored cards, announcements, or system messages. Ad interactions may be measured to understand performance and improve relevance.

Ownership

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant DogiCircle a license to host, store, process, resize, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the service.

DogiCircle owns the app, software, design, backend systems, trademarks, and service content that we provide, except for user-submitted content and third-party materials.

Termination

You may stop using DogiCircle at any time. DogiCircle may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create safety risks, or misuse the service.

Some records may be retained after account deletion or suspension where needed for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or moderation history.

Disclaimers

DogiCircle is provided as available. We do not guarantee that discovery results, messages, photos, Lost & Found posts, notifications, or ads will always be accurate, timely, available, or error-free.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, DogiCircle is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as DogiCircle changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
